Remember the Winter weather last week. The picture below was taken at the Food Lion at I40 and NC 210 on Friday last week. There were a ton of signs throughout the store where product should have been, but instead the trucks could not deliver for a few days and the shelves were left bare.

If this happened from just a few days worth of shortage do you really want to see what would happen after a week? This is the reason we prepare.
